I've gotten in to basketball; more so the Milton Keynes Lions - the local team. Very high energy and exciting. My first game was in September 2007 and I've pretty well been hooked ever since.
The new season is starting next week, but the cup winners cup against the Guilford Heat was tonight. We started really well and I thought it was going to be our night; but it wasn't to be. They out played, out muscled and BEAT us!! It wasn't a very pretty game, and hopefully will not be a sign of things to come for the rest of the season. I have high hopes.. Vince Macaulay seems to have signed some great new talent, but its obviously going to to take some time for them to gel together as a strong unit.
Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooo LIONS!!! Next week first home game of the season against Cheshire.. I may buy the team an extra large can opener, for the ass woooooop!
